Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Effective interventions for the changes experienced with pregnancy and childbirth. Our techniques include lymph drainage for leg/foot swelling and lactation promotion, scar mobilization for C-section recovery, deep tissue and trigger point release for postural pain, and cranial work for anxiety reduction. Clients can be comfortably positioned "face-down" using a special prone pillow, on their side, or on their back with head elevated, ensuring a tailored approach to each individual's needs.

We will assist you in determining whether your headache comes from muscular, skeletal, neurological or vascular origins. Cupping, guasha(scraping), and stretching may also be utilized to achieve desired outcomes.

This massage includes a thorough assessment prior to any hands on treatment to determine specific post-op goals including swelling management and any postural pain associated with your procedure. Techniques used during the session may include manual lymph drainage, scar mobilization, range of motion exercises, kinesiotaping, vibration, cupping, and trigger point release. The goal of post orthopedic surgery massage is to decrease swelling and pain and emphasize all post-surgical compliance with your surgical and rehab team. We will work directly with your PT or OT to supplement your plan of care for an expedited recovery.

Post Orthopedic Surgery Massage

This specialized service begins with an assessment to determine your unique needs following your breast surgery. We focus on improving shoulder mobility, addressing scar tissue from mastectomy or flap procedures, and managing lymphedema of your affected breast and arm. Relief for neck and shoulder tension caused by postural strain is also provided. Whenever appropriate, we collaborate with your oncology rehabilitation physical therapist to ensure seamless, comprehensive care. Sessions are conducted in a reclined position for safety and to respect surgical considerations.

Post Mastectomy or Reconstruction Massage

Massage to ease the symptoms of constipation, IBS, abdominal scarring, ulcerative colitis, and Crohn's disease.

Visceral Massage

Massage therapy for those who are actively undergoing cancer treatment, or who are recently in remission. A thorough assessment will be performed to determine modalities to be used, comfortable positioning, and goals for treatment. Oncology massage may include lymphatic drainage, scar tissue mobilization, and trigger point release to improve range of motion. Gentler techniques may be used for those undergoing chemotherapy or radiation.
